I originally learned about this album many years ago. there was a blog that I used to frequent back then that would upload obscure soundtrack albums and the like. they weren't the best quality.
Every couple of years, one particular track would appear in my head from this album, and then I'd attempt to track it down and be knocked back by the high price, or some other factor. I'd also try to track this CD, and find a similar situation.
A late night on IRC last Saturday (athr etime of typing) led my head down that particular rabbit hole, again, and once again, that song popped into my head, namely "Waiter" by Krimson Kake. It's a catchy little instrumental number which was the B side to a single of theirs. Not seen it available anywhere else other than either this CD or that 7", which seems to be rare and expensive.
So, when this CD popped up for a fiver including postage, it was purchased rather quickly. Didn't really read the rest of the tracklisting (even back in the day of the... Ahem... "acquired" album, "Waiter" was the only track I'd played) as this was the only one I wanted, but it's actually pretty good. A few recognisable library tracks, with some obscure gems such as "Belfast Boy", a song about George Best, and the theme to "Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads", which I didn't realise I didn't have on CD until now.
Overall, a cracking little CD.
