Just like the other "Greatest Hits" in the collection, "Hi Ho Silver" is not the proper version - the vocals are ever so slightly different, though the backing track does seem to be taken from the original recording. Some of the chorus might also be off the original recording, it's hard to tell, but the extra bits of ad-lib throw it right off.
turns out this version is the one that's used on his 1986 album "Desire For Freedom". If you're looking for a CD version of this song, it's not on there either. Save your pennies!
