It's a terrible song, I admit that, and it's one I had hesitiation in buying, but this reminds me of going to, and returning from Blackpool in around the same time the song came out, and being amazed at the fact the song was playing at the same set of traffic lights on the way there and the way back. Pretty fascinating, huh? Of course not, but that's what I remember it for.
