One of the very few CDs I've purchased new in recent times, though I did wait until it came down in price to £3. I'd have never known about it until Daddykins brought a copy of "the Metro" home on Friday morning. After looking online, and seeing that HMV were doing it for this price, I rushed up to see if it was the same price online.
HAHAHA no. £4.50 online.
Jamie S was bored today, and asked if I fancied a run out, Not wanting to turn down the opportunity of a trip out, despite the fact I was completely brassic, we went to York. "Oh, there's a HMV in York", I thought to myself, with the entire intention of picking up this album for as cheaply as possible.
During the day, we pass the HMV, with 15 minutes before the parking ticket ran out. "Do you reallk think this is wise?" he comments, as he knows exactly what I'm like when it comes to record shoips. The poor bastard has had to put up with far too many trips to charity shops and "That's Entertainment". To his amazement, I knew exactly what I wanted. The shelf it was on, was pretty much hanging out of the door, so it was literally a case of picking it up, walking to the counter, getting served, handing over 3 shiny coins and heading out of the door. The transaction would have been quicker, but I struggled to get the CD off the shelf. Whoops.
