Here's a discovery I didn't think I'd be finding tonight. While clearing out a certain part of my room, I found a few CDs that had been stuck there for a very long time. Some of them hadn't been ripped, some of them hadn't been catalogued. Shoved there since the day it was purchased, and never given a second thought. It wasn't until tonight, 29th July 2023, that I pulled it out of its dusty cocoon, and gave it a spin. Of course, there's so many 'Incantation' knock offs and re-releases, I was expecting this to be one of those, so imagine my surprise when the track I chose, namely 'Cacharpaya' turned out to be the 1982 original version. Nice to have that on CD finally.
Anyway, I took a look at the CD itself, and noticed "(c) 1982 Beggars Banquet Records". LOLWUT?
Turns out it's the actual original album, released with a different cover and a different record label.
the booklet that comes with the CD is quite hefty, so I thought it might have given some interesting info on the album, but no, it just turns out it's simply an advert for Coda records, and also some type of ordering form. Quit e a disappointment. Still, nice to find I actually have this album on CD without actually realising it!
