Although I bought this back in 2021, it remained in its carboard envelope until the end of 2022. Eventually got round to playing it on 2nd January 2023. I remember the A side and its weird sax, which is promient throughout the first two tracks. I hadn't heard the B side until today, and it probably should have stayed that way. It's not brilliant.

Still, good to hear the A side again after so many years... Probably close to 30 years.

I did have a copy of this when it was originally released, picked up for 10p from Hit Parade. Due to its cheapneess, I didn't think much of it, eventually, it exited the collection unceremoniously, in bits. No idea how, but part of it found its way under the carpet when we had the central heating fitted in 1994. It laid there undiscovered until we got the stairs carpet replaced in the mid 2000's. I did keep looking for a copy, and eventually found a copy of the 7'. Unfortunately, it didn't have the saxy bit in it, so it didn't really get played much. Probably once.

I then checked on Discogs, and the 12'' was on there for a reasonable price, so I picked it up. Again, not the greatest, but good to hear again. Interestingly, the album this was from, "Living Your Life" never got a release over here, only ever being released in Germany. This single failed to chart.
